​​Shelf Ready ADU plans now available

Thanks to a grant awarded to the County by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (Local Early Action Planning "LEAP" Grant), the County of Sacramento has a selection of detached ADU plans available for use by County of Sacramento residents (unincorporated areas only).​​ View the Shelf Ready ADU Plans.​​

Technology Fee Notice 2025

Streamlining Solar Permitting with SolarAPP+

Sacramento County has launched Sola​rAPP+​, an automated application for permitting new residential rooftop solar and storage systems. Solar​APP+ will expedite solar installations, encouraging property owners to invest in generating renewable and sustainable energy.
